Your generosity makes it possible for Steps to Manhood (STM) students, regardless of their
financial situation, to seize the opportunity to achieve their goals.  It is an investment in very
special young people.

The skyrocketing costs required to run youth programs, coupled with our high school drop-out
rate (over 50%), are the main reasons we rely so heavily on your generous support.  Despite
considerable obstacles, STM is committed to raise the money which guarantees our students
receive the assistance they need.  To give you some idea of the enormity of the need-close to
90% of the students who attend STM need financial assistance to participate in our programs.

Be assured that your generous support is the foundation for the hopes and dreams of all STM
students.  Their future contribution to America's greatness will make you proud you helped.

 I urge you to
make your contribution to STM as soon as you can.

Center for Community Development has made a commitment to partner with local schools in the South Shore community.  Real Men Read is one way we are fulfilling that commitment.  Each week male volunteers read to young children in grades kindergarten through third grade.  Reading aloud to children inspires them and spurs them on to be readers as well.
