Steps to Manhood Mentoring Program

The Center for Community Development’s Steps to Manhood (STM) mentoring program provides boys the comprehensive support and training necessary to transition from boys to men. STM incorporates the experience of Christian men and the wisdom of God’s word to prepare our boys to be contributors to their family and their community. The STM program teaches decision-making, leadership development, teamwork and financial literacy. We provide boys and young men an opportunity to gain exposure outside of their neighborhood through career counseling and college tours. STM meets every Saturday 11am-noon at Christ Bible Church, 7877 S. Coles Ave in Chicago. We provide services for boys in grades k-12.
