Hales Franciscan High School
Started in 1962 by the Franciscans of the Sacred Heart Province, Hales Franciscan is one of three Catholic high schools in the country created for African-American males. Our mission is to provide students with a spiritually rooted, college preparatory education and character building program in a safe, loving and inspiring environment that develops them into young men who are prepared for tomorrow’s opportunities, embrace academic excellence and life-long learning, embody wisdom and moral values, and continue to be assets to their family, community and the world.
